Aston University is proud to be located right at the heart of the city of Birmingham. Birmingham is a fantastic city for students, with a great cultural life and a wealth of opportunities for excellent work experience and employment with major companies and exciting start-ups.

The education quarter in the city is developing a fantastic catalyst for economic growth with Aston University, Birmingham City University, Innovation Birmingham (with impressive facilities to support new businesses), two academies and the coming National Rail College all located together.

Aston University works closely with the City Council and its local partners to enhance the student experience, to encourage entrepreneurship, to support local SMEs to grow and to help develop the economic strategy for the City.

We are committed to working in partnership with public, private and third sector organisations to raise the profile of the city on a national and international stage but at the same time to develop ways of improving the city and the quality of life for its residents.
